Breaking down guard play in LA

Posted on

Time for another episode of the podcast Locked in Women’s Basketball. It features host Alex Simon and LA Sparks beating reporter Dave Yapkowitz who breaks the guard rotation for Sparks. In addition, LA faces challenges by playing street games more than playing at home.

Dave talks about his exciting road game schedule for LA:

“Yes, I think if we see the team, we already know that it will come this season, there will definitely be a time of adjustment with all the new faces added in the offseason. It will definitely take a little time to get everyone acclimated to playing with each other. But the schedule is certainly not worth it to complete.

He’s been mentioned after a rather difficult Minnesota game to build the desired consistency while they’re on the road. And it doesn’t get the training time as much as you’d like.

“With the schedule that’s in place. I’ve seen some good things, as you know, the first two wins of the season. But he’s followed this up with a record five games lost. And I think there are some issues that we’re starting to see some of that. should be done to address the issue.
